Jeff Duran - IMDbAny composer in today's world needs to be flexible, creative and not afraid to take chances. With the use of computer based software programs, musicians and composers now have an almost endless supply of sounds, ways to create their "own sound" and the ability to sequence and record it all on their computer.When it comes to scoring, a composer must listen to what a director wants, not be afraid to offer his ideas and try to find the balance in between. Starting at a young age, Jeff learned to play by ear and quickly began to hear the notes of the music rather than reading them. This gave him a greater appreciation for the feeling and emotion of music. For the past 13 years, he has been using computer software to create his music pulling ideas from all different genres. Jeff has worked with Misfire Productions for the past 5 years and each project or movie has brought new challenges which he had to overcome. |
